I am deeply saddened to be informed of his passing. Sir Bernard Ingham was a supporter of our club and could be seen seated in the Arthur Wait Stand many years ago. My thoughts go out to all his family and friends at this sad time. Edited by Willo (24 Feb 2023 5.02pm)

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

I spoke with him on many occasions, he was always in the Stanley Stephenson lounge, a very nice man, and not what the perception of him was, RIP Sir Bernard.
Does anyone know the way? Did we hear someone say? |
