Key players weren't at their best today which is a shame as Villa looked a bit flat. Olise in particular was really poor by his standards. Wilf made a couple of mistakes but easily our most dangerous player and such a shame he was offside as he took the goal really well. The point where he controlled the ball first time, was falling and yet still got a shot away was class. McGinn once again seems unbookable! Can't really complain about Doucoure getting sent off, but once he was Vieira didn't seem to know how to manage the game.

At kick-off I looked at our team and was really excited but Ayew, Olise and Mitchell in particular were really wasteful in good positions. The goal was a fluke and other than that I think Guaita only had one save to make, so once again it really is the attacking side of the game we're short on. We even look more solid in midfield. Thankfully most results went our way today.
