First elevation for his brother and now a knighthood for his loathesome father. Disgraceful
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

His brother was out MP for a while. Orpington is a very safe Tory seat (the days of Orpington Man being long gone, tb only way on which the Liberals win anything being the Orpington Liberal Club which is a multi award winning real ale establishment) He was not a bad constituency MP as he was actually regularly seen in constituency and did listen , but was used very much as a puppet for his brother when he was mayor. Bit when the going got tough his brother found him a nice cushy number elsewhere. But as they say nepotism begins at home

There is nothing new about outgoing Prime Ministers displaying nepotism in nominating people for honours. Nothing to see here. The whole system is bent and silly, full stop.

I am only surprised Johnson did not declare himself a God. The God of Parties. Really we are in a sad place.

You have to go back to Wilson and Forkbender for such a sorry list.

I'm not sure I understand what Boris thinks his dad has done to deserve a knighthood. He's nominated 100 folk apparently, that's more than May and Cameron. Audacious as ever.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

He's hastening the death of the system so fairplay to him. It can't be taken seriously.

How could the voters not see through him? But they didn't or even want to, let's 'get brexit done' or 'make America great' over the pond. I thought on your own heads be it when I heard the result, and it has been a trail of chaos.

For a group very fond of declaring things are true they really don't like being shown thangs that really are.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |
