Seems to be all over media we have put a price tag of £50m to sell. We have to pay Chelsea a 20% sell on clause…so £40m ish. Which would mean about £22m profit. To sell or not to sell….. That is the question!!

That is the question!! It's a no from me. Selling would only make sense in the instance we had an adequate replacement lined up and I doubt/am not confident of that.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Why have we valued him at such a low price?

He's a fabulous footballer. £70m seems more realistic but wasn't he on only a 3 year deal? IE final season?

50m is too low. Assuming we could sign Levi Cowill for c. 25m. I'd let Guehi go for 65/70m

Before Maguire was signed by Man Utd he had been capped for England a few times. He played in the 2018 World Cup and scored in the semi-finals.He had also played in over 100 PL games before he joined Man Utd. BTW, this thread should be under Palace talk as the transfer thread is for INWARD transfer talk. Perhaps the mod would kindly move it.

I didn’t know we had a sell on fee agreement with Chelsea but I do know that they have an option to match any offer we accept from another club to therefore buy him back if they wish.
