Moussa Dembele - Reported Interest

I have a feeling this one has legs. We had scouted and were keen on Dembele when he was at Fulham and then Celtic and we have previous for signing players we were tracking in previous years. Plus, it seems we may be using the finances from Wilf's wages partially to pay him. And finally signing a player like him o a free seems like appealing business. It's been reported by the BBC via Football Insider so has some legitimacy to it:

Personally I'd rather keep Wilf for another year even if it costs £200,000 a week in wages.

For balance, I'm equally unaware of any evidence to say he's dropped off massively barring the stat you've provided YT... though that could be indicative.

For sure Palace are looking for a dynamic young experienced striker who is PL ready. Whether Dembele is their ultimate choice, who knows?

Maybe best to leave alone
