At home to West Brom, they went 2-1 up in stoppage time and they were all doing that Boing Boing thing of theirs. Then we equalised almost immediately to a spontaneous "You're not Boinging any more"
Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry. |

One of my favourites if not mentioned already was I seem to recall playing Leeds at Selhurst once, and I think in the championship, and regarding our ticket prices their fans were singing ‘thirty quid, you’re having a laugh!’ I remember our response being: ‘Thirty quid, thanks a lot!’ Still brings a smile.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

I dont like mentioning Man Utd, but, the chant "you've lost your hairline Phelan", to, "you've lost that loving feeling" is a classic.
Tell me, is something eluding you, sunshine? |

Weird how these things happen. I got into my work vehicle this afternoon and turned on the radio. It happened to be tuned to Radio 2 and the song playing (on Paul Gambaccini's 'Pick of the Pops') was Boom Boom Boom by The Outhere Brothers. It immediately reminded me that for a (short) while back in the day, Palace fans really did sing: Boom Boom Boom, now let me hear you say "Eagles"...EAGLES!

Apologies for lack of too much detail, but back in the day before internet, we played away to somewhere up north and I was reading the match report in a sunday paper. Apparently there was a half time entertainment which involved a bloke demonstrating something, the paper reported that the palace fans were singing "You sad b*st*rd " throughout.

After the 9-0 at Anfield we were kept in for about 25 minutes. We all sang 'we're gonna score in a minute, score in a minute' for that entire time.

I thought one of the funniest was very recently against Wet Spam, when Kurt Zouma was being helped off the pitch obviously in pain.
