With Chelsea losing tonight Saturday’s game is now significant as a win guarantees us 11th place and obviously a finish above Chelsea.

Pedantic of me perhaps but the fact is we just have to match or better Chelsea's result to stay 11th. There's quite a lot of money riding on it!

£2.2 million difference per place. In EPL football terms it does not sound much, but a sizeable amount all the same.

Beating Chelsea to 11th on Sunday should be motivation enough to enter Selhurst with their football boots on, not their sandals and swimming trunk. Signing off the season with a bumper...

Works out at about £40k per week so a lower paid player

Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course).

I'd say that finishing 11th in a season where a manager was relieved of his duties and a backroom staffer had to walk is pretty good business. Something to build on at the very least.

Obviously we finished above Chelsea in the 1990/91 season, when we ended up 3rd in the old first division (and then got cheated out of European football). But have we finished above them in any season since then? A real motivation for the Forest game.

It would be for me I know that, all the wifes family are chelsea, father and brother in law always give it the biggun over the years and the nieces and nephew have only ever known chelsea with loads of money and winning trophies, they weren’t even born the last time we finished above them in the early 90’s, so this is all a bit of a shock being down with the also rans.
So beating Forest is massive for me, so I’ve got a summer of milking it before chelsea spend another gazillion on players and sort themselves out

An unexpected 'brucie bonus' if we win this and attain the giddy heights of 11th position.

Certainly adds bite to the fixture.

COYP end the season with a result.

Let's hope we put out a strong team on Sunday. Particularly want to see Eze as my fantasy mini league win might be riding on him. COYP !!

Always going to be a tricky season - 4 weeks without a game due to the Queen, and 6 weeks with the World Cup. No Gallagher Kouyate and PV’s second season. 11th is a good result for me. And finishing strongly. Ten years in the Prem

COYP!!!
