If Zaha leaves on a free it is big shoes to bill for whoever plays LW. Rak Sakyi is mainly a RW and RW is Olise best position so he is not going to play there. Can he play LW full time (Rak Sakyi)?

Other players that can play LW are: Sarr who can play ST, LW and RW (Watford), Alexis Vega Mexican player who plays for Chivas, Barnes if Leicester get relegated. Cannot think of any other LW who would be available and realistic for Palace.

There is a queue of Championship teams wanting to loan JRS for a season and I suspect that is his direction.

Yes, if Wilf goes, my choice would undoubtedly be Jack Clarke of Sunderland, he ticks all the boxes, whether he would come or if we could afford him is another matter.

Hopefully that's what the scouting dept is for.

At the right price, I'd take Jack Harrison

As I posted on another thread, Wilf Gnonto from Leeds could well be available after their relegation.

Only 19, and been playing in the centre for them, but he is actually a LW.

Wilfs off, we probably need 2 lws to come in.

Ayew's been okay there. Edouard not so. Ayew is certainly an option, we won't be getting two (I presume).

Ayew can play LW so can Schlupp. But they are not really the same as Zaha what he offers. Rak Sakyi is mainly a RW but I am sure he could also play as a LW. Barnes would be a great signing but Leicester would probably want £40m upwards.

Fast tricky wingers r us. Always seemed to be that way so I would be disappointed if Wilf’s shoes weren’t filled by someone who fits the bill. I’ll admit that Ayew has looked better since moving to that side but he can’t have too much left in the tank now.

St Maximin is who I’d like to see at the club but can’t see it happening.

The trend for most EPL teams is to play inverted wingers i.e. left footed wingers such as Olise, JRS and Ebiowei on the right side of the pitch and right footed wingers such as Wilf on the left. Ayew is right footed and has done well covering for Wilf but i think he prefers a more central role. So if Wilf goes or is injured we really need a bit of cover. I think Saar from Watford could be the player to fill this role. I think he could capture his best form at a decent club like Palace as he looks to have lost his way after a promising start at Watford.
