At the end of the day he is what he is. Many years ago an Arsenal work colleague went to a book signing for his first autobiography and he whined on about how the Palace fans gave him grief and didn't appreciate him. In that book he talked about alleged dressing room 'bullying' from, amongst others, Jim Cannon. Make of that what you will. Taken from a career wasted in non-league football to an FA Cup Final. Sometimes you just don't get the gratitude you think you deserve. Best to move on. Sam Collymore anyone?

One other thing. He actually played a few more games for Palace than he did for Arsenal. He really pees me off also when he keeps referring to Arsenal as we and us. Palace are nearly always last on Match of the Day. I gave up watching it a while ago. They normally only show not much more than the goals anyway. So you might as well watch them on Sky you tube channel which are on there about fifteen minutes after the game.

I have never understood how the three of them got their job in the first place. MotD2 is a much better programme. It would be interesting to see how we are presented by those three. Or, if BBC wants to cuts its wage bill, Philip Schofield I'm sure has an up to date CV.
