Too old and would likely be another flop. Most likely he’s been told he’s due to be axed by Spurs but has been given a few weeks ‘grace’ to sort a new club under the pretence he’s still in demand. Edited by NE14T (14 Jun 2023 12.04pm)

I like Moura, think he's a good player and for all the world seems a good fella. Having him as an option seems exciting but it's very much on paper for me and may not reflect the reality: 30 y/o - A bit old for a winger and does not fit with our recent 'get em young' policy. Not played consistently for a while - may not be used to, up for it and perhaps there is a reason for this. Wages - not too long ago he virtually singlehandedly fired Spuds to the CL final! Brazilian int'l, formerly of PSG and Spurs, 90k a week purportedly and may not come cheap. So all in all I would love to see him as a Palace player but do I think he represents good business, a consistent first team purchase, value for money, investment in the future or a reliable replacement for an inevitably departing Wilf? No, unfortunately.

I saw one of the articles yesterday. All it said was that Palace were monitoring circumstances around some free agents. Given that Moura is a free agent, that's the only link I can see at present. No concrete interest at all

Initially i was quite excited at this rumour but I don't think it will be a good one. One of questions you have to ask is he going to get better if he signs for us compared to his previous club? With defenders they often improve with age so signing a 30year old is not necessarily a bad move. Strikers though are usually started to drop off performance wise primarily as their speed decreases.
