At 32 with his injury record lately, surely his career is headed towards one of the newly promoted teams or the championship - Having said that- stand by for the 5 o clock news where it will be announced that we have given him a 3 year deal.

Maybe a deal until the end of August when Olise should be fit again. He can then take over from Bright doing the commentary for Palace TV. Nice bloke but he was in decline two years ago. He also spoke publicly about Roy's tactics restricting him, so that might be an issue too.

Ideal short-term free agent deal. 32 or not, quality matters. Mates with Ebs I believe, he was injured in the home game against Everton looked quite serious. If he is fighting fit, why not?
