Agreement apparently for January 2024 transfer. Any more news?

Don’t know why the agreement is with River Plate. He’s on loan there from Atlanta United. ??????

A strange one.
He's actually owned by Atlanta FC in the States but is currently on loan to River Plate. According to Transfermarkt, the loan will end on 31 Dec 23 and River Plate will buy him for Euros 6.41m on 1st Jan 24. What are we paying (if this link is telling the truth)?

He's a LW and scored 8 goals in 31 appearances for River Plate to date. He has started more often than being a sub (21 v 10).

Spotted the twitter handle before posting online but just wondered what weight there was behind the actual news?
