I’m going to stop momentarily at that season, as I’m aware that there is a lot of footage out there in the following 6 seasons that I don’t have but hoping to get hold of. Once I do, then I’ll round up the reviews to 88/89.

was there for the Barnsley game - David Geddes got their winner if my memory is correct. And we played in stripes that season, 4k crowds with big Alan Mulley beset with shades, sheepskin and cigar mouthing off on the touchline - 81 to 85 was much worse than our spell in the 3rd tier which was fun with big crowds, this was like having your teeth pulled with small crowds.
