Just watched him and runs the left well. Got 3 men on every time so one less as against in a more skilled side would give him space. Left side cover and nearly scored a cracker. Just shooting the wind on him really. No ITK at all.

One of the few players ManU managed to unload for a profit. Pushed out on loan at Fulham last year where he did not impress. I'd be looking to take Gnonto before Everton get him: skillful, young and with some attitude. Roy speaks Italian, I imagine

I always thought James was pretty good. He has a decent all round game and quite a bit of high level experience these days. I would doubt he's going to develop much more however. So would be only decent if pretty cheap. Looks like others don't rate him - I've always thought his biggest lack is physicality. He's quite quick but not the fastest you'll ever see. He's alright at crossing and can hit long shots. He's quite good at dribbling and turning. He's not particularly exciting - tends to stay in the channels and run down the wing.

He's recorded as one of the top 10 fastest players in football. When I first saw him at Swansea I had hoped Palace would bid for him as his speed was insane. As others have said though he has struggled to add anything else to his game. I no longer want to see him at Palace.
