There must be something more to this than just adding another goalkeeper to the squad . Demands of being No1 wont sit well with the other keepers specially not Johnstone who if rumours are right will be off

Which leaves us back with one senior keeper and the problem of signing another who likes to sit on the bench . All seems very strange to me

Given the blindingly obvious gaps elsewhere in the squad, which a lack of funds seems to have at least partly contributed to, this would be such a strange signing.

Arguably only Arsenal and City could be said to have an obviously better number 2 than us, and yet we don't have a left winger to speak of.
