We lost this because we are poor in final third, Mitchell and Ward cannot play out quick enough from back and are far to slow getting back, Mitchell just has not got any idea in attack. We need a striker urgently.

We’ll probably won’t get as good a chance to get a result against them for awhile. As much as the effort was there, we never looked like scoring unless we got a penalty.

Worse thing is with 3 decent additions we could easily be top 10. But we won’t get them.

The problem is that we could have played for another 90 minutes and probably would not have scored.

Only two games in and the referee/var/both bias towards the top teams is already prevalent. It’s becoming almost predictable what is going to happen.

Great to see the Red and Blue stripes and the clock back on the Arthur Wait - still no sign of a centre forward however!

Many facets of our game were good- discipline, work rate and spirit.
Unfortunately we lack a little quality in the final third which hinders us.
No doubt Arsenal will be credited with game management, but to me it's timewasting and niggling behaviour.

I thought Mitchell played well - as did all the back four.

Arsenal didn’t give Eze any space, and he wasn’t able to create any. Sadly, during the close season, he still hasn’t learned to tackle.

had that been Viera , we would have lost 5-0

Roy is solid. Arsenal were just too expensive in the final chequebook.

Reminiscent of our days with just Wilf as our sole threat. We desperately need attacking additions to free up space for Eze.

Rak-Sakyi came on and at least tried to threaten. Others just had no idea what to do in the final third.
