Everyone's almost bound to think some element of society are criminals. You're letting an unconscious bias cloud your judgement now. No one said anyone in particular were criminals and rapists. I thought Trump might be referring to some section of society he doesn't like, maybe Muslims or immigrants or something but still don't know - or particularly care.
My main entertainment is just how rock bottom most Western democracies are. I wouldn't let most world leaders run a zebra crossing these days; I wouldn't trust them to own a teasmade. I'm not sure Biden is even alive. I've stopped being concerned - it's too far gone.

Itís not unconscious bias at all. Itís what everyone who has any kind of awareness of Trump knows is meant. It is a reference to illegal migrants.

If you believe that the Western democracy you live in is so bad then try to do something to improve it. There are many who believe, including me, that ours is no longer fit for purpose and needs reform. I donít though believe that all those who work within it are scheming rascals whose only motivation is self interest. I think there are many well intentioned folk with a genuine desire to serve the public interest.

Itís only too far gone if we stop trying to make it better.

That the right either donít appreciate them or understand them isnít the same as being unable to produce and circulate them. There is plenty of opposition to the Trump agenda out there, but itís unlikely to ever be seen by those it targets.

Suggesting Liz Cheney is from the ďleftĒ is obvious nonsense. She is, and has always been a Republican. Just one who has seen through Trump from the beginning, as many other senior Republicans have. She though has had the bravery to maintain her integrity and speak the truth, rather than sell her soul to the devil.

This is what I mean, there is not a single cell in your body that would give Trump credit for anything, you honestly have no idea how consumed by him you are, this is what the very definition of TDS is.
You see pro Trump memes and you're compelled to explain what the counter memes to it are, this is why the left cannot meme if it needs an explanation its garbage.
The Chaney quote was created by occupy democrats (left) - its not even a meme, the reason you're unable to understand this is because you come from a place of hate.

Let it go and enjoy the circus that is the US election process.

Who said that?

In the context of the 2024 election, which is the subject of this thread, what anyone here, or Republicans in the USA, think of Biden is irrelevant.

The only thing that matters is whether the independent swing voters will prefer another 4 years of Trump, who by then may be a convicted man, to whoever opposes him.

Anything else is a diversion.

Since Hawaii voted Democrat by a huge majority at the last election this fool wittering on about his cat to people who've had their lives and communities ravaged or lost friends/family members might well have an effect on the election whether the prospective candidates are a gaolbird or a daft old duffer.

TDS is indeed a thing, but it isnít anything I, or people like Liz Chaney, suffer from.

That idea is just another excuse offered by those who have truly got TDS. Those people who have been deluded BY Trump. Not those, like me, who can see their delusions.

Do I see anything that Trump deserves credit for? He seems to sincerely love his son but, try as I might, I cannot think of anything else. Thatís not bias. Itís being honest and objective. I donít hate him. I feel sorry for him, as I think he must be mentally unwell. I hate a situation in which someone like him ever was able to become President. It demonstrates a huge failure of the system in the USA that someone like that can be elevated to such a position when combined with prior policies that has left poorly educated people feeling so disadvantaged that they vote for him.

That you fail to recognise that the left are using a quote by another Republican in one of their memes, but think they have invented it themselves, only proves how out of touch with what is actually happening you seem to be.

Trump, his support base, plus those who instinctively hate Biden and the Democrats, exist in their own bubble and arenít aware of what is happening outside it. What happened at the midterms ought to have been a lesson, but it appears not to have been learned.

I doubt it will shift any votes to Trump. Only Trump supporters care about such things. Not because they care, but because they jump on any possible gaff as a political opportunity.

Him being there and offering Federal support will only firm up the support for the Democrats.

A conservative in this country recently criticised a Conservative prime minister in her resignation speech, the fact both are conservatives is moot just like Chaney going on the offensive re Trump.

Honestly seek help.

And if Trump isn't involved? Those who supported him aren't going to vote Democrat but some who were put off by him may vote Republican.

Do you seriously think you can equate the integrity of Dorries with Cheney, whatever their political affiliation might be?

If you do then itís you who needs to seek help! My views are perfectly sound and are shared by most clear thinking people. Only the one eyed right think otherwise.

This is true and the reason why some of the more objective and thoughtful Republicans are thinking that selecting someone other than Trump is the only way they can win in 2024. I agree and really hope that happens. My objections are not to responsible Republican policies but to the lying, self serving, corrupt populism from someone who refused to accept the consequences of democracy. Everyone, whatever their personal political outlook, should be united in their condemnation of that.

For a poster who expresses their distaste for Trump, judging by your posts, you have a huge amount in common with him. You are both hilarious in your political expressions. ...and yet, somewhat scary
