I would have thought Eze and JA will accept new improved contracts as silly not to but will definitely want get out clause due to our clubs lack of ambition These lads and a couple of others deserve to play on the top stage but our lack of ambition is the stumbling block RH at 77 a great manager and we owe him loads for our mid league stability but certainly not the man to break us into top 6 but not helped by our refusal to lay out decent bucks for a striker/full back and I suppose the board happy with a mid table each year. If these lads and Olise and MG go next summer we will certainly be back in relegation fight next season So let’s see what we can bring in in January to at least give our stars some hope of future success

I think N Wales did have Andersen in mind originally. But, in any case, I'm delighted Ayew has signed an extension because, as beak wrote, his energy and workrate is a huge asset.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

With Johnstone just signing a 4 year contract extension it makes the Henderson transfer just baffling , the reasons given at the time were that Johnstone was unsettled but that now looks not to be the case and we have wasted 20 million on filling a space that is not needed to be filled

Great to see both Sam Johnstone and Jordan Ayew sign new deals. Both very important players. Nice boost before the weekend. Now if we can get Eze to sign a new deal then Xmas has come early!
