I really do hope that should we be in a poor position with 30 minutes to go that the manager will revert against type and make use of his attacking options by bringing on Ahamada and our two youngsters immediately. Against Chelsea he brought on Franca at 90 minutes - an example of forlorn hope over experience. It was obvious that Eze was completely off his game and yet he persevered with him - to our cost. Hodgson is ultra cautious. If the 11 he's picked are not performing it is common sense to bring on fresh legs, as Chelsea did to good effect. If we lose or scrape a draw it will be time to bring in a younger person who can not only coach but get the best out of what we have - goodness knows there is plenty of talent, as the pundits keep reminding us! Whether it is Potter, Cooper or someone else I feel almost anyone could do a better job. Leaving things as they are is not now an option.

Don’t remember there being an injuries last night. Think it will be the same team. I’m sure some players read the comments on this site! Hopefully, it will inspire them (And the crowd) to a victory…2-0 Palace.
