An FA Cup Trophy would not make up for a decade in the Championship.
Sure it would be great to actually win something, but not at that price.

Not only win a cup but would be in Europe

If RH doesn't play Ozoh, Franca and Ahamada from the start, then I'll have lost (more) faith in his ability to manage our youngsters.

I reckon he'll play Ayew if he can (when does he go to ACN?), and probably Eze in Olise's abscence.

so I predict

------ Henderson/Matthews
Ward - Richards - Guehi - Mitchell
--------- Ozoh --- Hughes
-------------- Eze
Ayew ----------------- Franca
------------ Eduoard

That seems like a reasonable guess to me. He may well play Andersen/Guehi but I doubt it and of the two I imagine Andersen would be rested.

We don't have many options at wing backs, so same really, I wouldn't be surprised again to see Lerma, though he may be rested, and I am hoping Franca is the replacement for Olise though it may well be Schlupp or Edouard if Mateta starts.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Ayew is not allowed to play without his Country's permission I thought?
I also hope that Ozoh and Franca start the game and that Hughes absolutely doesn't get anywhere near the pitch - too slow against an energetic Everton side.

In my opinion all of the choices are pretty awful with our current squad. Our only hope is either playing out of our skins (unlikely) or Everton play a rubbish second string side like ours (possible).
We now have no wide men at all available yet watch us play a system that relies heavily on wide men. We should be playing through the middle with the players we have.

I thought Ward was still recovering from injury so not fully fit?

He will play Holding at the back surely

Roy needs to stop rushing his favorites back into the team this is why Olise is injured again.

Ayew has already left

Edouard has played left wing in place of Zaha before, Ebiowei is a winger (the only one we have) but never gets minutes, Franca is an attacking midfielder who plays best centrally according to reports but would not replace Eze so probably best utilised as a Olise replacement.

I’d like to see us play a 4-5-1 and rest a few players. I would go with the following which would be an interesting blend of youth and experience. Schlupp, Ahamada, Hughes to come on after 60 mins if not going our way.

Henderson
Ward (if fit), Richards, Guehi, Mitchell
Franca, Lerma, Ozoh, Eze, Edouard
Mateta

yeah, wasn't sure about ward or Ayew - I put them in as I think they'll play if available... and completly forgot Holding existed!

updated

------ Henderson/Matthews
Clyne - Holding - Guehi - Mitchell
--------- Ozoh --- Hughes
-- Franca ---- Eze ---- Schlupp

Could the weather be any worse? Usually watch from Upper Holmesdale, have moved to main stand row 10, could be a big mistake if the wind is blowing

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

The main stand faces North East and wind is blowing from the South West so you should be fine. Wouldn’t fancy the front of the Arthur much though!
