Apparently not happy with this contract offer from West Ham.
31 years old, could be worth a punt to improve the right back position?

No we need at least a mid twenties Rb otherwise we are in the same position for the foreseeable future

WH tend to pay more than we do which is largely why we loose out to them so often in transfer dealings & also has an influence on why we rarely take players from them afterwards, Tompkins & Kouyoute are just about the only ones that I can think of in modern times.

He could be our new Joel Ward - committed and useful as a RB though constantly bemoaned for a lack of pace and attacking contribution as he continues to age, which will feel like 10 years each season at 31.

I'm an admirer of his, think he's done very well for WHU, but a no from me.

 


Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!
