Attendance help needed

Hi Guys. I'm compiling records of Northampton Town FC and wondered if anybody could help me in regards a couple of attendances at Crystal Palace.
The first one is from the 1984/5 season. League Cup, Palace v NTFC at Selhurst Park on 27th August 1984. If any of you have a programme from later that season, the attendance may be listed.
The other one I have is a bit obscure, played at a former ground "The Nest" 13th January 1920 in the FA Cup. I doubt anybody will know that but I didn't think there was any harm in asking.

I'm much obliged for any help that can be offered.

From the very useful Mike Purkiss book, it states that the 1984 crowd was 3752.
The same book doesn't record us playing you in the FA Cup. We did play you in the league in August but it does not record the crowd.
Sorry can't help more.

According to this, we didnt play you in the FA Cup in 1920, 25 yes . . . [Link]

 

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Records show Palace lost 0-2 away to Newcastle in the 1st Round of the FA Cup on 10th Jan 1920. So we wouldn't have been playing Northampton 3 days later . Palace had been given a bye to the first round proper .
Northampton were not in the draw so were probably knocked out in the preliminary rounds

Thank you very much for the help guys, much appreciated.

The game in 1920 was a Southern League game. I didn't think there would be much chance of anybody having the attendance for that, very few clubs have their attendance records from those days, the only ones I've been able to find are Tottenham, West Ham, Newcastle, Coventry & Derby.

i was at that game. Definitely agree - knew it was less than 4,000
