He should go regardless. Beating only Brentford and Sheff Utd in a 12 game run isn't good enough. However, it is a massive game. We're five points clear and given that our relegation rivals have tough games (Forest vs. Arsenal, Luton vs. Brighton, City vs. Burnley, Spurs vs. Brentford), a win would almost certainly open up a nice gap again. So you're probably right, if he wins then he'll probably be given a stay of execution.
