Please don’t try and just shut up shop second half, it won’t work. We have to keep the tempo up and the pressure on. Chelsea are feeling pressure because they are not performing, let’s keep it that way.

We don't score many but the ones that we do score are worldies.

Munoz looks good. Wharton is going to be terrific when he grows into the team more. Franca still quiet but went on a very encouraging run towards the end.

If we can hold onto this we're 8 points clear, I'm anticipating a horribly tense 45 minutes of defending, probably featuring late heartache.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

Good football all around. Wish I were at the park so I could show my appreciation for the effort. Better transition from midfield to attack than we're accustomed to seeing.

Well well well. Can’t ask for more than that.

A lot of pretty sideways passing from Chelsea but so far all good.
For those old enough to remember him, Ray Wilkins would have loved playing these days, passing around but not really going anywhere.

If the boys can keep disciplined and not sit back for the 2nd half we could really get something from this game. How good would it be for us if it were 3 points.

Not good on the nerves though.

Good showing so far for new boys.

Wharton looks solid, Munoz is definitely an improvement, and Franca is gaining in confidence.

I second that.. francas run one more touch and he would have been through, that would have done wonders for his confidence. I’d like to see him get more of ball in attack

With respect to the boys on the pitch,I think if eze and olise were on the pitch we would be 2 or 3 up by now

Yes, yes and yes.

Suddenly the Everton line up looks promising - mostly.

This all boils down to 2 or 3 Palace players saying to their mates ‘we’re not going to sit back and concede 2 or 3 goals. We’re going to win this by going forward and scoring more goals.

Can they do it? Are they the lads tonight?

Can't remember that we have ever been 2,3 up even with them.
