Who do you think are the most important four players in our squad in order, here are mine.
1 Eze
2 Doucoure
3 Johnstone
4 Olise

Right names but not so sure of the order.
Think we missing Decoure and Olise both a great deal - maybe more than we did Eze.
Will be great to see all four playing together again though!

Mitchell
Edouard
Hughes
Henderson

But seriously can’t argue with your choices. I think most of us would pick those 4.

However might I add an ‘alternative’ option based on our reality right now.

Ayew. Has been really hard working this season and his constantly getting fouled moves us up the pitch and takes pressure off.

Mateta. Like a new man. His hold up play has been great to see. If he could be just add more goals there is now a player there.

Wharton. Looks so composed for his age. Get the feeling he is going to be class.

Richard’s. Has been getting better by the week. Looks much better in his natural defensive position. Going to be tough who to drop when Guehi is fit again.

the sky announcer told me, this week, that the last away-team to keep a clean sheet at the Etihad was Palace & Guaita.....i really miss him.

our most important ?

difficult to say. Some past heroes are looking tired, old and broken.

Maybe we must cherish.....
Ayew
Hughes

Mateta
Eze/Olise......certainly got the killer Eagle brain, so long as the fitness is ok.

Looking at the statistics, our weakness is in not scoring enough goals. Looking at the table below, only 3 teams have scored less goals than us.

And two of those teams are Anchors hurtling to the bottom of the Championship Ocean.

It is my uninformed opinion, that we have a weakness in mid-field. Not enough assists. Too slow on the counter-attack. Lacking that killer instinct. Uninformed, what would i know. But the statistics do not lie. Also, set pieces....diabolical.

do not blame our defenders for the poor result today. We should have been 3 or 4 goals to the good at 96 minutes.

Currently the most important four players are those on the bench we need to bring on for the last 15-20 minutes when we’re running out of steam. Sadly we seem to be lacking quality in that department!

Not sure if he is the most important player for us, but Eze is far above anyone. He is just on a different level from his team mates when he has the ball at his feet (even though he lost it a few times yesterday, and had those unnecessary and dangerous back passes).

For me. Eze,
Olise
Guehi
Dacoure (sorry, miss spelt)

Munoz could become key, we’ve been desperate for an outlet to press ever since Gallagher left

I think neither Andersen or Guehi are as good as the money they are reputed to be priced at, having said that as a pair they are excellent together, Guehi, Pace, strength, anticipation, but not Andersens Aerial ability, passing and organization skills, neither look as good without the other.

Eze can obviously be brilliant, but is quiet for long periods sometimes, Olise has much more of an impact, we’ve shipped goals without the douc in front of the defence and we look even more nervous at the back without Johnstone, so I’ll go…..

Olise
The Douc
Johnstone
Eze
