I think it likely that he has improved under Glasner but he has had limited time on the pitch and in the past has shown he is not the quickest and prone to make an errant pass in a dangerous part of the pitch
I would rather he was one of several upgrades that Glaner, hopefully, can also improve. Then we are talking seriously about Europe

With Doucoure and Lerma to come back to the squad any replacement for Riedewald will probably not get into the team anyway

He played in the Europa League final against United I believe before coming to us and has won our player of the month award twice. There's a definite player in there somewhere but I feel that he got lost under Roy and Vieira.

He's looked overweight and unfit at times over the last two years but has definitely had a few decent cameos since Glasner came in.

Whether he stays or goes I reckon very much depends on his ambition at this point in his career. If he's happy to stay and play a bit part role on a lower wage then he might be a useful squad player.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

I thought when Jairo came on he looked very similar to Wharton in terms of his style. He was quick to control the ball and then quick to make the early pass which is the preferred Glasner way. His problem is perhaps his pace , or lack of, rather than his footballing ability.
He might just fit a backup role for Glasner. COYP

I’m amazed you can even mention them in the same sentence to be honest, Riedevald just looked to me the same old languid player that gives us absolutely nothing, it really is time for him to move on, all aboard the deadwood bus in the close season

If he stays, a haircut might help.

The O'Jays look hasn't hurt Richards.

I wasn't particularly meaning his position for upgrades but you are right if those two both stay Riedewald will be fifth choice at best as a CDM
