That's five out now.
Henderson will definitely go as one of the three goalies
I imagine Eze will go as Grealish and Maddison have both been dropped. Guehi must be a shoo-in now Maguire is out although he may need to play, and well, against Iceland to be a starter.
Even with Maguire gone I cannot see them taking Konsa, Quansah and Brathwaite unless Shaw is unfit
I would hope they would leave out one of the strikers - with Bowen able to play there at a pinch - which means Wharton is also on the plane
So 4/4

Wow! Does look like 4 Palace

On the bbc as breaking news

Quansah has already gone home. They had booked a taxi for Curtis Jones so they said 'Jarell, you might as well jump in as you're going the same way'

Gareth Southgate press conference at 6pm

Branthwaite and Trafford being reported as 6 and 7 not going.

4 Palace in the Euros squad, with a Johnstone injury. What would have been the odds on that even 3 months ago?!

Certainly looks like 4 of our lads will be in Gareth's final group.

A wonderful testament to how well, and rapidly, our club has developed this year. As much as I feel proud, and sincerely hope they perform well, I can't help feeling nervous that they will be in the spotlight globally and undoubtedly attract unwelcome attention from potential overseas suitors as well as those domestic clubs already circling.

Oh dear, such a dilemma.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

As you say Sam injured, Henderson letting in goals with the team struggling in front of him and looking nowhere near a call up, Eze and Guehi injured, Wharton not even in the running, it was looking like a big fat 0 to go, just shows how quickly things can change in football

Guehi could well be a regular starter at the Euros and I have a sneak suspicion Wharton will play a big role with Eze a potential match winner off the bench!
3 Lions but 4 Eagles!

Grealish’s omission will certainly help or even cement Eze and Wharton places on the plane.

I do feel sorry for Grealish. He’s one of those players who Southgate plays kicking and screaming and has to perform twice as well as other players to be included. One can only surmise why that is but it doesn’t seem entirely fair to me.

Anyway…I’m not saying selection is easy.

Confirmed, all 4 in.

Given Gallagher, Rice, Mainoo, Wharton, Trent are all going, that to me suggests England will mostly line up like this:

Rice XXX

Saka Bellingham Foden

Kane

Amazing. I may even watch now. No Maguire is the icing on the cake.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)
