I would have liked 60 mil least... but the sell on clause will help one day.

I feel we did the right thing, we got more than last year and we don't know the future

Same old Palace. Seen it all before. As soon as we start to look half decent it all goes pear shaped.

I expect another 2 or 3 will go too.

We'll always be just a stepping stone for anyone who's any good.

We all knew what to expect. Can’t blame the guy really.

Hope we don’t lose all our stars. Fk it.

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

My thoughts

- one of the best right wingers I have ever seen at Palace. My 16 year old son asked me who i have seen who was better, and frankly i was clutching at straws - having supported Palace since 1986.
- He stayed with us for 1 extra year, upgraded his contract, so we got more money for him when he left
- Yes, yes he had his injury problems. but i am fairly confident that the medical team at Bayern can work out if he is fit and viable.
- I am glad that i dont have to watch him punishing us in the premier league next year.
- we have a sell on clause for if and when he goes to PSG (or whoever)
- i truly think he will become one of the best players who ever played on selhurst turf
- im so pissed he left, but i understand why

I was talking to an Orient fan last week who was asking me who the best player i've seen at Palace (he was reminding me how good Lombardo was) but i said Olise is the best player i've seen though i did ponder Wilf for a good while.
On transfer fee i do feel the price is a good deal for Bayern but we did get over the odds when we sold AWB. I guess you win some you lose some. I like others hope we did negotiate a sell on clause in the 10% to 20% bracket as should prove lucrative in long term.

My 10p worth.

First of all, gutted as there is no question he is a world class talent.

But if he is no longer a Palace player I couldn’t give a monkey who or what he does now. If he was not interested in what OG is building then I’m glad he is gone now rather than dragging out and at least we don’t have to see him coming back to haunt us for another prem team.

My biggest worry is that this opens the flood gates.

I was so excited for the season ahead, if we could have kept the team together for a season I really believed we could do a villa. Now I guess we see how good dougie and OG are with using the money wisely to strengthen so that we don’t miss the likes of MO, MG etc.

I also hope that MO doesn’t mention to Vincent Kompany how much better JPM is compared to Kane these days and we get a swap deal lol.

This is my view too.

It seems the sell on maybe 15% on total fee not profit.

Can you explain how it has al gone pear shaped, before the season has started? Yes Olise has gone, we knew he would but Kamada is a very good player. If Guehi goes, Riad is excellent. Give OG and the club a chance please

So is there a sell-on clause or isn't there? To me, a sell-on clause where there was a release clause would be a bit odd. A bit like putting a price on a car and then when someone stumps up the cash to buy it, introducing a whole load of new conditions over its future use. Maybe release clauses have a built-in "subject to an agreed sell-on clause" clause, but given that MO's release clause was put in place to tempt him to stay, why would he then agree to be restricted to a sell-on clause clause (if that makes sense!)?

I hardly feel that moving anywhere from the Premier League is "testing yourself". Pushing for top six in the best league in the world is testing yourself. Let that be a lesson to any future deserters.

Good point, although I suppose he'll be aiming to play against the likes of Real Madrid in the 'Champions' League. We can't offer that.
