Such tragic news. I witnessed Sarkic playing for Millwall at Coventry in a televised game last season. My thoughts and prayers go out to all his family and friends, it must be devastating for them. Edited by Willo (15 Jun 2024 9.48am)

Sad news about the passing of, presumably, a fit young sportsman aged only 26. Died suddenly in an apartment whilst away on international duty. RIP.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

Sounds a little strange. Must be quite a shock for the family, players, club staff and even the fans. Seems very young. He would have had many, many years ahead of him. RIP.
