He is happy where he is but obviously the call of champions league footy and a massive pay rise will be looming large. I think he will move on if they want the money. As they are a textor club I can see him insisting. He gets his hands on some of the 25% and the fee. It also makes lyon a better option to sell. win win for him!

Does anyone know if there is a buy back clause in his contract? Not saying we need him now but if he does leave Lyon we will miss out should there be one. Just curious

Olympic, are playing in Europe next season after a horrific start to last season, had the third largest attendance in Lique 1 (43k) despite this, play in the food capital of France with its great weather and European connections. At his age there will be plenty of time to move on to a bigger and better things. In any event, unless OL a financially stretched, Textor will slap a suitably ridiculous price on his contract if the big boys come calling.
