Foden plays well in Pep's system but struggles for England.
Eze likes to play more centrally, so is a bit wasted in Southgate's formation, but GS isn't going to drop Bellingham.

I'm more concerned with Eze being a Palace player come next season than any daft comparisons.

Neither could be the answer. It’s about the system. Foden is being misused in a style of play with which he is not familiar ie Pepball. Eze just doesn’t seem settled in his part appearances. Arguably out of position but ironically doing some of his best stuff tracking back.
Both would suit where Bellingham is playing. So I’d say Palmer or Gordon.

The key is Wharton. How good could England be if Eze and Wharton were on the pitch at the same time. Shame its not happening!

Barring injury there's no way on Earth Southgate would pick Eze over Foden.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Let's hope it happens for us next season. At the moment I'm pessimistic that it will.

You won’t be seeing him play for Palace anymore, so we’ll see if you still feel the same when he’s gone

I wouldn’t pick either, I’d put Gordon at left wingback, Saka at right wingback. Rice and Mainoo in centre with Bellingham playing one side of Kane and Palmer the other.

Wharton and Eze are great players but now is not their time as starters. If they don’t start to play under a new manager I would be pretty annoyed.

Silly question. As much as I love Eze (I really do)...Foden is literally top 10 players in the world right now. He's insanely good. And can be relied upon week in week out.

Eze will be a world beater one game...then sort of disappear for another. Glad he's ours though for the time being .

Foden. By a mile.

Foden's problem when playing for England is that his teammates aren't up to the standard of those around him wyhen he's playing for City.
