I don't know about anyone else but I'm getting a bit concerned. There's a lot of clubs in for the same wingers we have reportedly been after. I just have a really bad feeling all our main targets are going to be taken and we will end up with the scraps (players like Edwards and Larsen). The main reason I feel so concerned is we usually flap around and takes ages to get main targets in and leave it until the last minute and then the main players we wanted get pinched by other clubs. We have the cash from Olise going so we should be going out there and snapping up our main targets. Tottenham, West Ham, Everton, Ipswich and Wolves all seem to be after the same players as us as well as a few foreign sides. I think the main targets are Antonio Nusa, Mathias Soule and Jaden Philogene. Am I over thinking this or is anyone else concerned due to Parish's reputation of taking too long to get the cheque book out?

For a start, we don't play with any wingers, the width comes from the wing backs, and we play two Attacking Midfielders centrally behind Mateta, so at moment Eze and Kamada would be the two, with hopefully Franca as back up, Ryan Sessegnon might be a good back up for Mitchell, and maybe Imray for Muñoz, but i would certainly like another CAM for the Squad

Have you forgotten we’ve already signed two players? which is well ahead of schedule for us, we’ve got Olise out of the door early as well, so with 5 weeks until our first game and hopefully the Olise money to spend, we’re ticking along okay by our usual standards.

Other issue is clubs are probably playing hardball cuz they know we've got £60m in the bank.

This has been my exact thinking for a while.

There's certainly a difference between the traditional, beat your man and whip it in/cut in and take a shot winger and a CAM/CF in the Glasner set up, for me.

Munoz seems to fit the bill perfectly. A LWB of the same ilk would be my priority, if I were asked. Mateta/Eze/Kamada is a very decent front three for my money and I'm hoping we see more of Franca this season too.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

IMHO getting Kamada in has bought the club a bit of time. Not a direct replacement but can play on the right or the No10 position.

As we know the squad does lack depth (or quality depth) so i am sure OG will want at least one more attacking/wide player. Personally a young(ish) wide player who can play on either side would be my preference.

I also think he wants a good look at Rak-Sakyi in pre-season as he is clearly a similar style to Olise, left footed who plays on the right. I suspect he will be loaned out in late August but i think Palace are right to take their time with this decision.

Obviously if Eze were to leave too then the dynamics change

I hope this is not from following the Palace.

This is a good post that simplifies our system with regard to securing additional players. I am pretty relaxed about who we get now as I feel we are in full control now we have Dougie and Glasner working together with their support teams.
In my view we are already well positioned especially if Sessignon comes good.

I like the look of Kamada, but I'm not expecting him to be at the same level as Olise. On that basis, we are weaker than we were as it stands. We are well stacked in central midfield but we need at least one more attacking player to add threat either from the start or from the bench. I still think Nelson from Arsenal would be a good shout, while I'd also have a cheeky enquiry about James McAtee at City who would be a fantastic signing, with rumours they might let him go for £20 million.

Agreed, but Olise missed half of last season (played 19 prem games out of 3 so just having a fit replacement is a positive - maybe comparing Kamada against Ayew, who essentially played that position in Olise's absence averages things out (even though Ayew actually did quite well)
