Being of advancing years I suppose the best way of saying what your favourites are is to apply the test of time. If you like something years ago and still like it now then it must have something. Ones that I couldnt live without:
- Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd
- Revolver - Beatles
- Machine Head - Deep Purple
- Blue - Joni Mitchell

Quality - Revolver was a b****** not to include, the best Beatles album in my opinion and Mitchell's Blue & Clouds are both great albums.

Machine Head - The Blackening, certainly the best album I own, and I think it's in with a real shout for best metal album ever, it has no weak tracks on it, every track on it that I have heard/seen live are amazing, it's been compared to Master Of Puppets and I personally think it's better.
