Saw Kevin Phillips at Cheltenham yesterday. Was there on a jolly with a few of the Derby players. Asked if he was up for another penalty against Watford at Wembley in a few weeks.

Spent a fantastic weekend at my brother's in Hereford recently - played footie on Friday night, few beers and kebab and then back into town for bacon sarnies and Saturday drinking. Whilst in a pub on the river, Robert Plant was there.

Went for a curry opposite and saw drums & guitars being taken into the pub, convinced ourselves he was going to play a secret gig and went back in for another session.

Turns out he lives nearby(ish) and was just in for drink

However - the band was King Mantis - who were very good (but not really famous).

And me old mucker Colin, with his gelled up flat-top and his GTi, XR3, 4, 5, 6 & 7, GT, iS, Esprit, Cabriolet, Ghia, Turbo 4+4 . . .

Saturday at Aston Down airfield, Gloucestershire, our boys were in a Spartan run and were in the same group as Mike Tindall & Zara Phillips. Following day, Sunday 29th May we were fortunate enough to be having a meal (Groupon offer) at Royal Garden Hotel in the evening & was going for a nightcap in their Berties bar but was refused entry because of a private function - the Millwall team after their loss at Wembley!!! Wish I'd had my Palace shirt on to goad them or the bottle to blag my way in somehow & wind the t***s up. Didn't look too upset though with their families, kicking small footballs around - hey ho 3rd tier football again for them hahaha

And Teddy Sheringham was on our plane from Dubai to Heathrow as we flew in to Heathrow.
