I would have to say it is a toss up between Dougie's one against Sunderland, Butters one against Gillinham in the same season and Ventola's goal against Southampton at home this season because of what it meant at the time.

Dougie against sunderland in the league last year. I think it was the 3rd goal, but he took it on the volley from the edge of the box. Sublime.

Hopkin vs Sheff Utd, I think i've said enough there.

There are too many to list at the moment.

But I did enjoy the goal Wayne scored against Stoke the season before last. The little "Brazillian" drag through and turn, leaving the defence for dead -- and slotting it home!

As I don't see to well, I miss goals when I'm at the mighty Selhurst.

That said, I can vividly recall a Matt Jansen diving header into the top corner to beat Bristol City 2-1 in the last minute some years ago.

think most of these have been mentioned

1. dean gordon's last-minute stonker against derby to win us a point, around about 93 or 94.

2. mark bright's equaliser against liverpool in the 1990 semi. anyone know what happened to pembo after it went in? he's the only outfield player who didn't jump on bright.

3. chris armstrong's scissor kick against pompey 1994 (?) right in front of us on the holmesdale. gorgeous day that was. couldn't believe loads of palace left about five minutes before the end to avoid the traffic.

4. dave madden's penalty against blackburn in the play-off final in 1989. my chest is still reverberating.

was it Staunton from the half way line? dat was nice
Dougie's against sunderland was sweet.
Rubens when we done the scoucers 2-1.

And a goal that sticks in my mine,f*** knows why it ws quite a good goal maybe it was because it was scored by a CB was Hall's one against his former employers southampton a few months ago.

So many, but here we go;

1) Ian Wright v Wimbledon May '91 - what a shot from the half way line.

2) Neil Shipperley v Sunderland May '04 - just the precision of that header that looped over Mart Poom, and it was directly after they took the lead.

3) Michael Hughes v Sunderland May '04 - that penalty shoot-out was just too painful for the heart, but was jumping around like kris-kros on steroids when Hughesey put that peno away!!!

4) Anjers Rubens v Liverpool - what a shot!!! how he got it in from that wide with that pace still bemuses me!!!
