Wright and Bright.
To be wronged is nothing unless you continue to remember it. |

Geoff Thomas for me. My all time sporting hero. He wasn't the most gifted of players but he gave his all and took no prisoners on the pitch. I used to love seeing him boss the midfield - especially when up against the likes of Steve McMahon or David Batty. The guy was class and a massive factor in our 3rd place finish in the top flight.

From when i was a kid loved john Salako & Dean Gordon especially his hat-rick. in the 2000 aki riihilahti was my favourite. Best ever player goes to Zaha or Moses. Love a player that get you off your seat.

Mark Bright, Jim Canon and Andy Gray. I don't need to say anything about Sir Jim. Mark Bright because he was such a nice bloke and seemed to stick with us a lot better than his strike partner did. He probably had better technique than Wright too - especially when striking from a distance or laying the ball into his strike partner's path. And Andy Gray because you used to always have to say 'The Black Andy Gray' to the clueless glory seeking fans of other clubs so he wouldn't get mixed up with the Scottish leg breaker. Plus, he was a genuinely good player. In more modern times Moses, Clyne and Zaha - whom we all secretly follow when no-one is looking.

Depending on how old you are will determine your answer to this question. For me it has to be Ian Wright,I was watching my old season review videos recently & he scored so many fantastic goals for us!1 of my favorite goals he scored for us was a stunning lob against Wimbledon at Plough Lane.He was 1 of the major reasons why we had our most successful period in our history when he was upfront for us!
