Simon Jordan
Simon Jordan has insisted that Clinton Morrison is staying at Selhurst Park despite the financial uncertainty in the game.
With the collapse of the ITV Digital contract, most Nationwide clubs have been plunged into serious money problems and it was thought Palace would have to sell their most-prized asset.
But Jordan said: "We are better able than most to cope with the current financial climate and I expect Trevor to bring players in.
"Clinton is halfway through a contract he signed 18 months ago and if I wanted to sell him it would have to be for the right price.
"I'm not willing to speculate what that price might be but I turned down an offer of £5m from Birmingham."
