Hayden Mullins holds off his marker
A poor performance saw Crystal Palace go down by two goals to nil against Bournemouth at Dean Court.
Youngster Will Antwi, fresh from signing pro forms for the club, played the full game at centre-half.
The Cherries had the first chance of the game when in the ninth minute, Connell caught Tony Popovic in possesion but his attempted chip over the keeper went wide.
A minute later, Steve Kabba raced onto a throughball but his lob was easily saved by keeper Jones.
Approaching the half hour mark, Dougie Freedman should have scored when he superbly controlled a throughball and with a one-on-one with the keeper, shot wide.
A few minutes later, Rubins saw his effort go over the bar after playing a one-two with Steve Thomson.
Freedman had a shot saved easily by second half keeper Stewart two minutes into the second period and seven minutes afterwards, his long ball found Danny Butterfield whose shot missed the target.
Bournemouth got the opening goal when Thomas slotted home a Caceres low ball into the box past Matt Clarke in the 60th minute.
Substitute Wayne Routledge sparked Palace into life and he crossed to Kabba, who turned his marker, but missed the target.
Bournemouth had a couple of half chances for a second and with three minutes left on the clock, Feeney added number two.
A minute later Routledge could have got a consolation for Palace, but his shot was saved at point-blank range by Stewart.
