David Hopkin

David Hopkin

David Hopkin has been released from the club after having his contract paid up by Simon Jordan.

Hopkin, who was one of the club's highest earners, never quite reached the heights of his previous stint at the club, which peaked when he scored the winner against Sheffield United in the 1997 playoff final.

After 10 years in the English leagues, Hopkin has made his desire to return to Scotland to finish his career.

During his career ,Hopkin has played for Port Glasgow BC, Greenock Morton, Chelsea, Palace, Leeds, and Bradford.
