Dougie Freedman
Crystal Palace were more than a match for Premiership Charlton, holding the Addicks to a 1-1 draw at Selhurst Park.
The performance was a major improvement from the Tottenham Hotspur match last week for Simon Rodger's testimonial.
Dougie Freedman put Palace in front on seven minutes, only for former Eagle Matt Svenson to snatch an equaliser in the 63rd minute.
Palace: Clarke, Fleming, Granville, Butterfield, Austin (Frampton 46), Popovic, Mullins (Thomson 67), Johnson (Black 72), Freedman (Adebola 46), Derry, Riihilahti.
Subs not used: Kolinko, Routledge.
Charlton: Kiely, Kishishev (Powell 46), Rufus (Fortune 81), Parker (Jensen 46), Kinsella (Bart-Williams 64), Robinson (Stuart 46), Lisbie (Johansson 64), Rowett (Brown 83), Konchesky, Young, Svensson (Euell 64).
Subs not used: Rachubka, Roberts.
