Berhalter misery could soon be over

Gregg Berhalter's miserable time at Palace could be soon over after he travelled this week to Germany to discuss a possible move.

Berhalter did not play in the reserves' 7-0 thumping of Northampton Town, as he was discussing terms with an unknown Bundesliga side.

Trevor Francis commented: "There could be movement out of the club this week. Berhalter is in Germany discussing a possible move, and we've paid up Pollock."

Berhalter was almost shipped off to Greece to play for Iraklis in June, but the deal fell through.

The mystery continues as to why Francis totally rejected Berhalter from his plans, even though he performed well in the two huge World Cup games against Mexico and Germany for his country.
