Dougie to start?

The Eagles hope to get back to winning ways at home to Ipswich tonight...

On-loan striker Noel Whelan is set to make his Selhurst Park debut after scoring at Bradford in the 2-1 defeat on Saturday.

He will be partnered by Tommy Black or Dougie Freedman up front.

Andy Johnson is a doubt as he is still streuggling with a foot ligament injury while Dele Adebola is out with a groin strain.

Aki Riihilahti will be absent for the next two weeks while he recovers from his thigh injury.

Former Palace favourite Hermann Hreidarsson will miss a return to Selhurst as he will be out for three weeks with a knee injury.

Midfielder Tommy Miller is a doubt with a knee problem picked up in Saturday's league match against Stoke.
