Palace job is no pressure - Kamara

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace

Sky Sports pundit Chris Kamara reckons the manager who takes over at Palace won't be under any extra pressure due to Simon Jordan's high demands.

Jordan said he wants promotion in two years and after working with four managers since taking over the club, many fans feel he places too many demands on his manager.

But Kamara said: "You might think that there is pressure on the manager there, but trust me there is no more pressure than on any other manager in the country.

"What you have to remember is that every manager that has gone in there, Simon Jordan has backed themm with cold hard cash. Some might say he is interfering, but it is his money that is going into the club, after all.

"The chairman may have said he wants to be in the Premiership in two years time, but that's just common sense. he doesn't want consolidation, he wants success.

"Whoever goes in there will know he has as good a chance as an in the division of making a decent promotion push."
