Team news

Steve Kember is hopeful Michael Hughes will have signed in time for tomorrow's match up at Turf Moor.

Kember said: "We hope to finalise the deal and register him in time to play. He will be a great asset to us. He is a wide player with immense experience."

Tony Popovic (groin) and Darren Powell (back) are both fit to play.

Danny Granville and Hayden Mullins wil miss the game due to hernia operations and Curtis Fleming is still not match fit.

Kember said: "He (Fleming) was injured during pre-season and he is still a week away from full fitness.

"Otherwise I have a full strength squad from which to pick. The mood is a confident one. We have had a good preseason and I am happy."

Former Palace mis-fit striker Gareth Taylor is out with an eye injury sustained in a recent pre-season friendly.

Ian Moore is suspended for the first three games of the season, defender Mark McGregor (knee) is out, while on-loan winger Luke Chadwick could start.
