Crystal Palace
Kit Symons has signed Aston Villa's Rob Edwards on a month's loan to ease the club's injury crisis in defence.
Symons only had himself and Tony Popovic fit to play in the heart of defence ahead of Saturday's trip to Walsall.
Twenty-year-old Edwards will provide the necessary cover and will go staright into tomorrow's squad.
He came up through the youth ranks at Aston Villa and had nine first team starts last season.
He has yet to start a game this campaign, but got a Welsh cap in October, coming on as a sub in their 3-2 defeat at home to Serbia and Motenegro.
