Fan Zhiyi
Crystal Palace coach Ray Houghton has praised Fan Zhiyi after his return to action for the Eagles from having played at the Asia cup with his country. The Chinese international played a big part in Saturday's 4-1 thrashing of Sheffield Wednesday.
Coach Ray Houghton said that Zhiyi was badly missed by the club while he was in Lebanon playing int the Asia Cup with China.
"It would be fair to say that he was probably our most consistent performer before he went away after the Preston game.
"And it was nice to see him back. Fan is good in the air, he has got good pace and is very dangerous from set pieces," the former Irish international said.
Meanwhile, it has been announced by Crystal Palace that the prices for the Selhurst Park derby against Wimbledon on December 5 have been slashed.
The club decided to cut the prices to attract a big crowd for the game. Prices for the game is £10 adults and £5 concessions while in the Directors Box the price is £15 adults and £5 concessions.
Also, Watford have been allocated four blocks (W, X, Y and Z) in the Arthur Wait stand for their visit to Selhurst four days after the Wimbledon derby.
Finally, it has been announced that the game against Wolves at Molineux on Saturday afternoon is all ticket. Prices for tickets are £14 adults and £9.50 concessions and none will be available to Palace fans on the day of the game.
