Crystal Palace
Palace have failed to agree a permanent deal with Thomas Myhre after his three-month loan ended.
The Norweigan stopper will return to Sunderland after personal terms became a stumbling block in agreeing a move.
Myhre's departure is a big blow to boss Iain Dowie, as he has been outstanding during his spell at the club, and it now leaves the Palace boss without a recognised keeper.
Dowie said: "It doesn't look as though we will be signing Thomas. It's a shame because he is a fantastic keeper and a superb professional. Unfortunately, in the end, it came down to personal terms, which couldn’t be agreed.
"His attitude and effort impressed me greatly. I wish him all the best and thank him for everything he did for the club."
