Midfielder Paul Murray is the latest Oldham player to reject a move to Crystal Palace.
The Latics had agreed a transfer fee with Palace but the deal collapsed as he could not agree personal terms with the Londoners.
Keeper Les Pogliacomi last week decided to stay at Oldham after accepting a new deal until the end of the season.
It's a blow for boss Iain Dowie who was keen to bring the duo with him to Selhurst Park. But both signings could be resurrected at the end of the season as the pair are free agents.
Murray said: "Palace might get back to me, but if it doesn’t happen this week I don’t think it will happen at all.
"I'm not sure the situation will be resolved, but that's fine because I enjoy playing for Oldham.
"Going to London would be a big move, so I would need to be satisfied it was right both financially and for my family.
"I will probably be here to the end of the season at least, or maybe longer if we could sort something out. And I would be happy to do that."
