Palace reserves had a convincing 2-0 win away to Chelsea thanks to two goals from Ivan Kaviedes.
Palace drafted in youngsters Rhoys Wiggins, Luke Hickey and Lewis Grabban to the squad from the Academy.
The Blues started off brightly and had the first decent chance of the game, which was played at Aldershot Town. Danny Woodards hooked a shot over the bar nicking the ball off Lance Cronin, who had rushed out of his area to clear a ball.
Ecuadorian frontman Ivan Kaviedes forced Chelsea keeper Lenny Pidgeley into a good save on 25 minutes and the first period was pretty even.
However, two minutes into the second half, Palace were awarded a penalty after Adrian Pettigrew hacked down Hungarian international striker Sandor Torgehelle in the box. Kaviedes converted the penalty.
Pidgeley produced another fine stop to thwart on-loan defender Gonzalo Sorondo from a corner as the rebound flew over the bar.
Chelsea made a number of substitutions in the hope their fortunes would change. But in the last minute, Kaviedes raced onto a througball and cooly slotted past Pidgeley to seal the win.
Palace: Cronin, Togwell, Borrowdale, Derry, Leigertwood (Simpson), Sorondo, Soares, Pritchard, Torghelle, Kaviedes, R Hall.
Subs not used: Wilkinson, Simpson, Grabban, Wiggins, Hickey.
