Crystal Palace
Palace have signed Greek midfielder Vassilis Lakis on a one year deal.
The 28 year old right-sided midfielder was a free agent after playing for AEK Athens.
Lakis was in the Greek squad which won Euro 2004, and came on as a second half substitute when Greece beat France 1-0 on the way to the final.
Lakis will provide good competition for Wayne Routledge, and will likely to feature in the reserve's next game against Coventry on October 5th.
Speaking to the Official Palace website Iain Dowie said: "We are delighted to sign a player of Vasilis' quality,"
"Subject to international clearance he will go straight into the squad for Monday night's game against Fulham."
